AAF and You

AAF is committed to the inclusion of communities in its exhibitions and programming. We collaborate with visual artists, writers, musicians, theater and movie practitioners, folk artists, researchers, and scholars for different types of projects and activities.

We also welcome organizations and individuals to explore how we can realize shared visions and values. We welcome ideas and gestures of support for the following:

  • Development of the art campus grounds and infrastructures
  • Sustaining the operations of AAF and the art campus
  • Sponsorship of visual arts exhibitions
  • Funding of music, theater performances, and film screenings
  • Support for workshops, seminars, for a, and outreach programs
  • Patronage for residency and research of art practitioners
  • Other collaborations and projects

Victor Dennis T. Nierva
Victor Dennis T. Nierva is the founder, host, and editor of the Bikol language advocacy Magbikol Kita. He is a writer, translator, designer, entrepreneur, among others.
His two books in the Bikol language—Antisipasyon asin iba pang mga rawitdawit sa Bikol asin Ingles and Doros asin mga Anghel: Translation in Bikol of John Donne's Holy Sonnets and Selected Works—both have won the National Book Awards. He most recent book, An Dalan kan Peregrino, is a translation in Bikol of the autobiography of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
He contributes as an editor and validator of DepEd’s MTBMLE textbooks in Bikol, and in the programs of The Asia Foundation and RTI International. He is the co-founder of the creative content startup Creative Coconut; the education startup Alab Ideas; as well as the history-oriented organization, Saysay Bikol. He is also a railroad enthusiast and modeler.

Jerome M. Hipolito
Jerome M. Hipolito is the author of Oda sa Tadik, Lobo, and Padangat.
He was a fellow at the 58th UP National Writers Workshop in 2019 and the 12th Ateneo National Writers Workshop in 2014. Since 2014, He run the annual CBSUA Writers Workshop and San Miguel Bay Writers Workshop.
He won in the poetry category at the Premio Tomas para sa Literaturang Bikolnon for my poetry collection Pagbunag nin Paroy asin iba pan rawitdawit in 2008 and his novel, Dyurnal Intris won the Valledor Award for Bikol Novel Vincitori Ex Aequo in 2019. He teaches at the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture.
